This Website is for gaining information, for the members of our congregation. Also, it will, hopefully, enlighten others on what we are about, and how they can become part of a Church Body with Biblical Teachings.
We exist to Love God Passionately and Love People Intentionally.

We believe Christ, Jesus is the corner stone of Glassport Assembly of God. It is our goal to be the light in the darkness of the Mon Valley.
Mathew 5:14-1 46 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be
hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a
bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the
house. Let
your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify
your Father which is in heaven."

Saved: A person must come into believing in Christ and accepting him as their personal savior.
John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Healed: A person can call upon God to heal not only our outer wounds, but those that reach the deepest into our soul.
Psalms 147:3 "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."
Discipled: We believe that no one should be left on their own to figure out what it means to be Christian. We take the oppertunity to walk you through what a personal relationship with Jesus Christ really means.
Mathew 28: 18-20 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Equipped: We believe that all point are given talents and gifts. As believers we believe in showing people how to give ourselves to God in order to figure out the plan he has in your own life.
Ephesians 4: 11-13 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:"
Empowered: We believe that God gives you the tools, courage, and ability to reach out to others just has Christ reached out to you.
Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
